The garage has finished the repair-work on my car, leaving me with a new bill of $1.000. Together with the previous garage-visit that I charged on my MasterCard and some leftover expenses from christmas (also on my MC), I now have aprox. $2.600 that needs to be payed - and this of course happens when I’m about to take a 20% pay-cut for the next 11 months *sigh* Amazingly enough, after hours of brain-twisting and scouring through my bank-accounts, I managed to find the money I needed. It leaves me with absolutely no savings at all, but at least I’ll have this out of the way.

Earlier today I went to my hairdresser and got my hair cut. It’s the first thing I’ve treated myself to for months, as my income is usually spent covering monthly expensesand other basic necessities. I had hoped to treat myself to a few things as I was waiting for Adrians arrival, like an embroidery I could work on in the hospital and supplies for three pictures I wanted to make for the living-room. I also have almost 900 pictures that I wanted to get developed and put into photo-albums, and I did have big plans of some wall-decorations for Adrians room.. I guess that’ll just have to wait..

Now I’m just being negative, I apologize! I did find the money to pay off these bills, and I have a safe roof over my head and plenty of food to eat. I don’t have any reason to complain, and who needs all this material stuff anyways?!
